It's midnight on Thursday night, and we're ready to go! We've been busy preparing all week (all month really), and it all came together. To-do lists are all checked off, everything is packed, the house is ready for our renter, and we're feeling good. We leave tomorrow morning on an 11am flight, and arrive in Quito tomorrow evening sometime, with a brief layover in Miami.
It feels a bit like the preparations for our wedding, and for our around-the-world trip. Both were huge adventures, with massive planning, organizing and preparing leading up to them. And both turned out to be amazing, life-changing experiences, creating some of our most treasured memories. We can only imagine all the good things that will come as a result of this trip!
